A tiny FUNDRAISER returns to the Cultural Arts Council in 2020!

What is “A tiny Fundraiser”? 
Started in 2017, each year, pieces of original art, all 6×6 inches square, created by professional and amateur artists, are donated to the Cultural Arts Council (CAC), and sold for $20 each. The CAC invites you to be a part of the Second Annual 6×6 exhibit – known as A tiny Fundraiser! This exhibit will help:
• Promote YOUR art!
• Offer collectors an affordable means to start an art collection or add to an existing collection
• Promote your artwork with chances for future commissions
• Provide financial support to the Cultural Arts Council

The Douglas County Art Guild is participating in an Art Swap with the Carrollton Artists Guild during the months of July and August 2020.

Douglas County Art Guild members’ work will be on display in Carrollton and Carrollton Artists Guild members’ work will be on display at the Douglas County Cultural Arts Center During the months of June and July.

The reception for the Douglas County Art Guild will be in Carrollton at the Cultural Arts Center on Thursday, July 23, from 5-7 pm.

The reception for the Carrollton Artists Guild will be at the Cultural Arts Center in Douglasville on Thursday, July 16th from 5-7 pm.

Douglas County Art Guild’s Biennial Exhibit








Douglas County Art Guild’s Biennial Exhibit will be on display at the Cultural Arts Council for Douglasville/Douglas County (CAC), 8652 Campbellton St., Douglasville, through June 25th.

The March Meeting








At our March meeting, Grete Carder walked the guild through their first (and in come cases second and third) acrylic pours. 

Everyone had a great time making a mess and in the end, produced some great results. Above are some examples of the end products.
